Now known as Traders Seafood Steak and Ale, this dining establishment has long been a fixture in the Chesapeake Beach community. Originally built in 1956, then owned by Bill O'Mara, the "Seabreeze" offered local diners and tourists great food at reasonable prices. More that 50 years and a few owners later, that philosphy stills holds true. Jim & Gary Luckett purchased the "Seabreeze" from the Pelletier family in 2000 and it then became Traders Seafood Steak & Ale. Many long time "Seabreeze" employees still call Traders "home" and the atmosphere is one that makes the customer feel at home as well.

Although the building has dramatically changed over the years, one thing remains constant; you will always feel welcome at Traders. The building got a much needed but quite unexpected facelift after being struck by a tornado on June 4, 2008. But, due to the hard work of the Lucketts and support from the locals, Traders reopened after 3 months of major rennovations; "A blessing in disguise," some called it. Since the rebuilding during the summer of 2008, the Lucketts have added an outdoor deck with a bar and dining area.

Traders offers the Maryland Lottery, Keno, Racetrax and scratch off tickets along with electronic bingo. Some customers choose to make a day of their visit enjoying the gaming area, a great meal, drinks and entertainment in a beach town atmosphere, while others stop in to quickly grab a bite to eat or entertain guests in comfortable surroundings.
